I just went back to work on this poster.... and it somehow reminded me about how bad I am in writing texts... so this is a call for help to anybody who likes to wrtite texts, could you help me a bit...
No actually it's all hand-drawn by hand and some parts are made in photoshop (wacom tablet).
thanks anyway... I'll be posting a new improved version soon!
Just need to fix some stuff in the text...
This has already been pointed out. It's an error I hadn't seen... well actually nobody had seen it yet, until I opened this thread.
Whatever, thanks for reporting it, I'll correct it!
That text...
Do I really look like a techie? Because, that's me in the poster... I took myself as a reference for practical reasons.
But I'm not really a techie, I don't compile from source, never! :) That's why...
Thanks a lot everybody!
As soon as I will have ironed out the last wrinkles and corrected all the typos I will do the following:

Thanks for reporting the typos! I am so unable to see them myself... so I was hoping to find someone like you with a sharp eye! I'll correct the errors!
I love Inkscape, use it a lot! But not...
I thought abut that... but you know, it's a wordplay on the expression "not my cup of tea" using the word "coffee" instead, would spoil that.
thanks you!
thanks people!
yep it's mine! Well... I work as an illustrator and graphic designer, so actually this is my job.
I must admit I have not used Gimp, but evil photoshop, simply because I can't get...
After years of inactivity due to work, university and other crap, if finally managed to create another ubuntu poster.
You might remember the old one I did back in 2006 (I think)...
Any updates on this matter... seems pretty much unresolved still... and searching the web does not show a lot of discussion about it... would be great to be able to not have to re-rate all the songs...

I was so missing the mint menu too! Thanks for this solution!
hi everybody!
I have an XPS dell m1330 with an nvidia card. Performance has been pretty bad ever since, but especially with intrepid. Most visible when maximizing windows from the taskbar, then the...
wow great! Thank you so much for this! just one question... you don't happen to know how to get ubuntu to load an existing profile, do you? Because I have a hardware calibration tool that creates an...
Oh yes me too! Would really love such a feature. There's a couple of apps that do that already on linux, like GammaPage and such. The problem is, they're not really integrated into the os, and most...
Most of the features listed in the first post of this tread have not made it into intrepid. But that's ok. As long as we get a stable OS... and actually here come the real problem. What has been...
This release solved a lot of problems I had with hardy. My cds now mount properly on the desktop and compiz seems to work better (most of the time, but more on that matter later on). Some things...
I'm sorry I picked the wrong license for this, but now I corrected it

btw... sice I never know where the "source" for the poster can be downloaded here, people sometimes ask me about it and I definitely like the idea of people working with it, I put it up on my site...
Afaik there's nothing you could call a dreamweaver clone... but you could try Amaya, have used it in the past, but not a lot, since lately I use only joomla for my sites so I don't need any htlm...
well yes, that's basically what they did... and yes, it's "day for night", I just have a mess in my head and turn things arund :)
No that i see this one... a suggestion, make it a little brighter, so it risks to look too much like night for day in old horror movies :D
let's see how things will be once we have Gimp with GEGL, in the meantime there is only one easy solution: get Crossower Office and Photoshop7. You can get it to run with wine (for free) but that is...
you know... the big problem is when I try to run the system with the proprietary drivers it will all just act weird... I think it's time for a re-install
