Please check out whether your router accepts WPA encryption and configure it if possible, first on the router, then on your machine.
Well, I didn't try knetworkmanager, so dunno what's wrong there. Do you have some outputs of ifconfig/iwconfig?
better get it working with wpa. I could not sleep well if my connection would run with wep ;)
pleasure ;)
Did you check out that ESSID and WPA-Key are set up correctly in rt61sta.dat?
The output looks good so far.
You have set up 10.13.37.1 as your IP address. Could it be that this is the IP of you Access Point (Router)? Then you should change it to 10.13.37.10 or so and try...
So, you've been successfull finally? ;) grats! Also working with WPA and stuff?
The flavor should play no role, I've used a clean Kubuntu installation as well.
Which kernel did you choose? 386 or generic? Maybe you try to compile the module in the wrong branch or something.

What's the output of "iwlist ra0 scan" and "ifconfig"?
Congrats! ;) Glad the guide helped out one more person.
Thanks for the info, just fixed the typo!

type
dpkg -l |grep 'headers'
In case it isn't installed, type...
Well the driver supports those three cards you mentioned, so its easier to say rt61, also i find this calling i's more common.
Yeah, nice typo :p
what's in your /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-server/build directory?
I would suggest that you unload all other modules which use the card and reload the rt61. Did the module load correctly? What says lsmod|grep 'rt61' ?
If it works then, you also should blacklist the...
Could you post the complete output of iwconfig?
A custom internal IP.
Did you overwrite the Makefile by Makefile.6 first?
Thanks for the dhcp settings, I will add them to the howto.
