    Hi,

I am searching like mad for a git package for Feisty as it doesn't build for me the way I want.

Re: Simple Text Editor (Without tabs!)

Scribes seems to fit to your needs perfectly.

They (the Scribes devs) seem to dislike tabs as well ;)

  3. Re: Mac-style Menu Bar for GTK and Java/Swing applications!

    Hi,

I am now stuck in this thread again (cause I like the idea), and I have some questions, which are probably answered somewhere in between these 40 pages :D

    1) Is there a repo for Ubuntu yet?...

    Re: Banshee 0.11.3 for Edgy

    No, sorry.

Try "sudo apt-get build-dep banshee" or "sudo apt-get install banshee", and then install the package again (to have all dependencies).

    Re: gNewSense

I think it is pretty clear at the moment. But that will change with Feisty when they integrate binary drivers by default.

Also Feisty+1 will include Linspires Click'n'Run.

He promised a "free Ubuntu" to RMS, but today the say, that it is just no doable technically. ^^

    Re: Banshee 0.11.3 for Edgy

Does that work for you without problems?
  14. Re: Steve Jobs seeks online music DRM removal

Yeah, if he is really interested in DRM-free music, he could add the same artists like Magnatunes (the one that is now in amaroK) to his iTunes Music Store.
  15. Re: Steve Jobs seeks online music DRM removal

No I don't want to imagine. DRM free is nice, but completely free would be much better.

Licensable formats is what you want, probably because you have already talked to music-labels how great...
