    Lightbulb workspace switcher plugin

    maybe this already exists, if so tell me where i can get it, but i would like to have a different desktop background picture on each "workspace". i know this is a programming thing, but i thought that the people in here could push for it. vote if you think this is a good idea!

    Well I voted yes, for a very simple reason: I believe that what's good about linux and choice, so... the choice should be available, even though I wouldn't use it myself.

    KDE allows that by default, for gnome users wallpapoz is a good work around : http://wallpapoz.sourceforge.net/
