[SOLVED] July 2006 Desktop Thread (safe for work content only)

Here is mine -
First one is plain desktop with a Nautilus window. The second one has 'Tom & Jerry' in VLC (semi-transparent) and Audacious media player.

Anyway, I was looking for some windows themes and most of them are not gray. I didn't check Mac themes, but it doesn't really matter.

gamma, what theme are you using?

It's Gilouche... Suse's default theme. You can get it from this file... http://download.opensuse.org/distrib...-31.noarch.rpm
You may need to sudo apt-get install rpm.

I just changed it from looking like a Mac to this.
I thank that I need a new desktop to go with the theme better.

That's because (generally) it's a lot more usable for borders to be a color as opposed to the bg color. My point was that its a theme thing, and has nothing to do with any os, so it does matter, in fact it's a design thing and universal.
