    Case Logic mouse not recognized

I have a new wireless usb mouse made by Case Logic. The sensor is lit up but it is totally funtionless. The package says "Windows and Mac" but does not mention Linux. I assume it should still be compatible, or is this a bad assumption? Is it usable? The package says "usb 2.4ghz" but I have a "usb 2.0" system. Obviously the mouse is from china.

Just to troubleshoot think I'd first use the reset function on the mouse.
Follow the user manual directions for verifying it's synced with the USB receiver.

Re: Case Logic mouse not recognized

Thanks for the reply. This time when I plugged it n it just worked. Go figure. Only thing I did different is that I plugged to receiver in and then installed the battery. When I plugged it in before I put the battery in first and the plugged in the receiver. Just something to try if anyone else has the same problem. Thanks.
