Start-Up Manager

I have been using the Start-Up Manager, but I does not offer option for deleting any unwanted entries?? Anyone know who to do it??

Hi,

I have windows xp on my computer. then i installed ubuntu 10.04 in parallel. everythings worked fine, but i wanted windows to be the default os to start in grub manager. so i installed the startup manager and set the default, but the i got a surprise after restart:

the entry "windows" in grub was deleted! starting ubuntu again an the startup manager still shows the windows entry. how can i fix this?

i have no experience in linux, please say it step by step.
