Sure is amusing to see the line "We usually have around 50 users online by now" today, with over a thousand in the room

I have been to this IRC chanel about half a dozen times, waited and no-one showed up.
Would be awesome to have some more people to talk to.
Cheers

users tend to be at GMT +1:00 or GMT -5:00/6:00/7:00. If there's not any action, consider the time.
I'm there for lots of time -_- as a proud spammer of the channel
You would probably be thinking about #ubuntu, which has that size. That is also the reason why the channel has such a strict policy. Unlike #ubuntu, #ubuntuforums is not a support-only channel, so we can freely chat there (while respecting the CoC).
I can confirm that
But sudomania is there maybe even more often... or just lets everyone know with an obligatory on-join hello ツ

Visit us on IRC as well: #ubuntuforums on irc.freenode.net
I used the IRC channel several times and often got very helpful advice
can't log in. Got disconnected yesterday, and and since can't log back in. Anyone else experience that or know what that's about?
Have i been banned?!
Hear me, hear me! Latest news!
#Ubuntuforums is now mature - no ops, ubotu and ubuntu in teh house!, and Seveas comes in!
It's now a normal freenode-like channel.

I've never used IRC...the sheer l33tness of it kind of scares me
any pointers for an IRC n00b? I've used chat room type things lots, and have decent chat etiquette, but IRC is a whole new thing for me.
