some changes in my life

I’m a bit busy these days and there are some changes happening in my life currently.

1. I’m going to live together with my girlfriend from now on!
2. I’m going to start on a master of science in Artificial Intelligence in the town where my girlfriend lives (let’s hope all the paperwork works out but I see no problems). I hope to get my masters degree in about a year from now .
3. Point 1 and 2 mean that I will spend a little bit less time on ubuntuforums from now on .
4. I’m going to need a laptop to be able to work for my study and also to be able to work on it when I’m in my home town where I lived until now (at my mums). I have started threads on both the ubuntuforums and the dutch ubuntu forum because I haven’t bought a laptop for Ubuntu before. I’m willing to spend 1200 euros to find a nice one. But since this is a LOT of money for me I need some input/feedback/help. I want a small laptop with good performance and battery life which needs to run Ubuntu perfectly since I don’t want to use a proprietary OS on it. You can find more of my wishes/requirements in the forum threads. help wanted and very much appreciated
5. I won’t feed all of my blogposts to planet.ubuntu.com anymore. I’m going to create a seperate planet feed for my blog. If you want to read more personal stories, general Linux stuff and other things which interest me then you need to go to my blog or subscribe to this feed.

I will still be active on the forums just a bit less. I will try to a look (at least) once a day.

A couple of things on which I will spend (most) time are : communicating with the staff,Ubuntu Customization Guide, the new science subforum, the threads I'm active in, my stickies and my blog(which I'm going to use more to show interesting threads to the rest of the Ubuntu community with my posts to the planet).

I don't know exactly how much time I will have. Time will tell.
