Trusted Computing (a must see short movie)

    From :
    http://ubuntudemon.wordpress.com/200...ee-short-movie

The user stoeptegel posted a link (to a torrent) to a movie called “Trusted Computing”. IMHO everyone should download and watch this movie. The movie is legally free to download and it’s about 50 mb big. It’s definetely interesting to watch for geeks and non-geeks alike.
    Here's the torrent :

am i missing something? i didn't find it informative at all. it comes across as propaganda without any substance. i'm concerned about the notion of 'trusted computing', but this movie does nothing, imltho.

it's informative in a simple way. it informs me about an issue that I thought wasn't really that has nothing to do with me might actually have an effect on regular/normal people. It gets the attention of normal people, to get them interested on the implications of Trusted Computing.

It's definitely not an advertisement of techy people.

Re: Trusted Computing (a must see short movie)

I found this movie great. It realy describes that implications Trusted computing would have.
fusia, a short movie such as this cant have much more substance that. A movie of this length can only reflect the opinion of one side. For it to reflect both sides effectively, it must be much longer. Anything from 30 minutes to 90, and include interviews from people on both sides.

it is an advertisement, though. it arouses curiosity without informing. if it informed, people who would only be curious, would not look further.
