I have just solved my problem described in this thread. All I have to do was, to delete /usr/local/share/quodlibet directory, and install QuodLibet player again. Now, my mp3 collection has been recognized and played.
Just a few words to say thanks everyone here, especially mlind for the useful repository and the fast updates when new version of QL are released.
Something went wrong... suddenly i cannot play any music in quod-libet. Mplayer seems to work fine so it might be a gstreamer problem I get this error message in the terminal: Introspect error: The name org.gajim.dbus was not provided by any .service files
any help will be appreciated a lot....
solved
edit: Introspect error: The name org.gajim.dbus had nothing to do with it. It is a harmless error everyone seems to have. My problem was that somehow alsa mixer was deselected in the multimedia tab. Easy to solve if you know...

People need/want to test the new devices stuff before release.
I don’t know what you have at the repo currently, mlind, this is just a one-time interlude.
File issues here.
To install unpack the archive and install all contained debs. What I don’t know is how you have to install gpod, it isn’t documented yet. Perhaps "Installation - Point 3." still applies? EDIT: it seems Edgy already holds thos gpod Python bindings: http://packages.ubuntu.com/python-gpod

@ hugmenot
I'm not sure either what repo currently holds
I've started to use Edgy as my main system, so my Dapper packages are probably history.
Can some one please Tell me how to Remove once
sudo make install
is executed?
sudo make uninstall does not work..
Thanks
